Nana (Mrs.) Juliana Owusu-Ansah
Nana (Mrs.) Juliana Owusu Ansah assumed office as the new Headmistress (the first female Head) of Ghana National College on the 5th of August, 2014. She took over from Mr. E.K.T. Osam who retired from the service of the Ghana Education Service recently after a distinguished service to our school. Nana (Mrs.) Juliana Owusu Ansah was lately the Headmistress of the University Practice Secondary school, Cape Coast.
She was a student on the ‘Broken Hills’ from 1976-1978. In th 1977/78 Academic Year, she was the college’s Compound Prefect.

- August, 2015 – Ghana National College placed in top 20 schools in Ghana based on the 2015 WASSCE.
- June, 2016 – Ghana National College reached the semi-finals in the 2016 National Science and Maths Quiz
